16th Blogger/ Non Blogger Challenge

Hello, I am the winner of Blogger/Non blogger challenge 15 therefor no the Hostess for the 16th Blogger/Non-blogger Challenge.  I chose this Landscape Art by Ivan Laliashvili. Ivan is a concept artist and illustrator in Russia. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I found his illustrations to be quite colorful and would let Artist imaginations soar.
Ivan's  illustration "On the beach" is also rich in detail. Love these.  So, have you ever heard of Debbie Sanders of Debbie Sanders Glass beads?    www.etsy.com/shop/debbiesanders      She creates organic glass beads. I thought a nice prize would be a Mini sample from my stash.  Are these so gorgeous

These glass disc are adorned with silver glass and fine silver wire accents.  The next choice of prize are a collection of gemstones from my hoard, I mean stash.  Theme being red white and blue. Large red jasper focal, red MOP, white shell pearls, alittle pricey but oh so gorgeous I love to just look at them, ahem I mean try to figure out what to showcase them best in. And for blue some jade or quartz.
Just beauties they are.  Look at all the earrings , bracelet and Pendant you could create, wow a whole Parure. Additionaly, hope thats spelled right: There will be some Brass elements in both Prizes.

Well the Reveal is January 5, 2015, If you click on the blogger challenge Illustration to the left of the blog it will take you to the
Face book Blogger voting page.  https://www.facebook.com/BeadPeepsBNBpublicVote       Entries have to be emailed to me by midnight January 4th to be added to the albulm. gja7680@yahoo.com   The Prizes are worth $25.00+   winner gets to choose and then a second Artist who has the runner up position gets the second prize.  I am so excited to see what is being created.  Stay tuned and as always

Art Bead Scene December

"Choir of Sint-Bavokerk, Haarlem" 1635 a Dutch Art

  1. painting by Pieter Saenredam. Cathedral Arches of soft Tans, Gray and dark brown.  I chose dark browns and strong lines because thats what would challenge me.  My Art bead was taken from this set handemade by Caroline Dewison of Blueberri Beads.   https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/blueberribeads
  2. The Brown ceramic beads had strong lines and I have hoarded these beads for over a year. I won these beads and when I received them I was just starting out at making Jewelry and these were the most gorgeous ceramic beads I had ever owned.  I enjoyed pulling them out, touching them, ooooh and ahhh over them.  I have created these lovely long earrings.  I added Brass bead caps and Spectra beads from  www.bsueboutiques.com  some crystals and I love how these came out.  Thank you Art bead Scene for the challenge.  Thank you Caroline for your gorgeous works of art.  Thank you Brenda Lansdowne my mentor and friend.

Art Bead Scene November Challenge

Hello all you beautiful Gems.  As you may or may not know I'm a pink girl, I love pink.  This months challenge over at Art Bead Scene was pure delight to my heart. "Cattelya Orchid and Three Humingbirds" by Martin Johnson Heade (1871)

As you know an Art bead is a bead, charm, button, Pendants or finding made by an independant artist. Art beads are the vision and handiwork of an individual artist.  That is ABS definition.  Hmmm, I'm independant.  I believe I am on my way to becoming an Artist, roflmbo.  Although I am a whimsical one. So I pulled out some Polymer, started playing
I made these cute little floral beads for practice, just warming up you know.

Then I created A bead for part one of the challenge

Love how this Orchid came out. I was so inspired by this painting so full of colors
I can't wait to create a Beautiful Piece of wearable Art Jewelry.  Make sure you return for part 2.

THIRD ANNUAL OCTOBERFEST BLOG HOP

Welcome to the third annual Autumn Splendor Blog Hop.  This Hop is Brought to you Courtesy of Toltec Jewels our Hostess from Jewel School Friends.  Rita inspite of her many challenges this month was never wavering in her support of the artist and we are all here supporting her.  Three Cheers For Rita!!  This is my first time participating, but I love hops.  October brings a new season of colors with the changing of the leaves.  The cool winds blow the leaves in the air floating and swirling to the ground.  I see Oranges, Browns, Yellow and Green.  I wanted to capture the tree in a bead, but alas it was not meant to be.

I just couldn't capture the essence in my polymer so I caned that design instead because after all the colors were right.
I made this gorgeous focal shaped like a leaf wire wrapped it and made matching beads

I then made earrings and a Necklace.

I also did a strung set of beads feauring the Browns and Green of Autumn with matching earrings

Hope you enjoyed the eye candy.  Please hop around

WE'RE All Ears October Reveal

Inspiration this month comes from a marbled collage of Art by Jemma Lewis.  The lower left Orange, red and Blue felt like Autum sky and leaves and these are the colors for my earrings.  What Red/Orange Gem is more beautiful than Carnellian
Add some Yellow Venetian Glass Anacapri Beads and Blue sparklers

Oh my God these Glass beads are so yummy they just give me goose pimples all over.  The colors so light and airy just make a girl feel so pretty. Here we go all completed and ready for Fall.
Thank you for spending time with me.
